I've recently had a request for a list of good places to go on dates.

I'm not going to lie though, these are really just some of my favorite places to go.

I just love food and great places to enjoy the people I love.

The plan is to add to the list as i find great places to go...

...so feel free to pipe in.

1. Savelli's- Italian hole in the wall on Southerland and it is absolutely wonderful! The red sauce there is so good...on anything. No bread before, but it's worth the wait. Portions are great and you can bring your own wine. Not going to go broke eating amazing food here.

2. King Tut's- still waiting to go but word of mouth says it's a winner

3. Kalamata Cafe- Northshore at Pellissippi. Love the indoor outdoor feel and the food was so fresh! Not to mention decent prices.

4. Lakeside Tavern- Bread=Heaven. Strawberry salad=second best after the bread

5. Cupcakery- Just had my first cupcake from this cute little Bearden bakery and Oh my gosh! It was an experience to say the least. Strawberry cupcakes are my favorite.

6. Long's Drug Store- Probably not going to dress up for this date, but if it's the day when you need a good hamburger and a milkshake, Long's is the place to go. The sweet ladies in there will just make your heart smile.

7. BlackBird Coffee House- Sequoia Hills secret tucked away behind cherokee blvd next to those cute apartments. Great coffee and sweet sweets. It's tiny tiny tiny.

8. Cherokee park- picnics are all the rage these days, at least i think so.
